3 backpackers are in Amsterdam where they get locked out of their youth hostel. They are invited into a man's house where he tells them of a hostel somewhere in eastern Europe where the women are all incredibly hot and have a taste for American men. When they get there, everything is too good to be true - the hostel is "to die for"

Beckinsale & Speedman Talk Underworld

Kate Beckinsale and Scott Speedman both talked to Entertainment Tonight about their roles in Sony's upcoming Underworld.

Of her daring choice to play an undead warrior, Beckinsale says the harder the role, the better. "That's the whole point for me. I think the more frightened you are and the more convinced you are that you can't do it, that's the job you should take."

This Romeo-and-Juliet story with a twist was quite an experience for the stars, who both wondered if they were up for the grueling shoot.

"I've never done anything like this," says Speedman. "All the training, running around and getting shot at -- I wanted to see if I'd like it. It was a lot of hard work, but was definitely cool to do."

Beckinsale also admits that she wasn't sure if sexy Speedman would be able to handle the exhausting work! "He was amazingly able to withstand the physical pain. I wasn't expecting that. He's so pretty that you don't think he'd stay in freezing cold water for 10 hours and come back asking for more."

Jeff Vintar Penning Y: The Last Man

Jeff Vintar, a writer on 20th Century Fox's upcoming I, Robot, has been hired to write sci-fi adaptations for both 20th Century Fox and New Line Cinema.

Vintar will first work on DC Comics' Y: The Last Man for New Line Cinema, with David Goyer producing. That will be followed by an adaptation of Isaac Asimov's classic Foundation trilogy for Fox which Shekhar Kapur is attached to direct.

Published by DC Comics' Vertigo and created by Brian K. Vaughan and Pia Guerra, Y: The Last Man is based on the premise that a mysterious plague wipes out every male on the planet. Sole exception is one seemingly average young man who discovers it's very dangerous to be the last man on Earth.

Foundation focuses on how the human race is put on autopilot by a scientist who has mathematically mapped out exactly how the world will run. However, the program goes awry with the arrival of an evil mutant bent on conquering the universe. Vintar will pen two screenplays that could be released as a single epic but will most likely become two films. The adaptation will stem from the series' first three volumes, "Foundation," "Foundation and Empire" and "Second Foundation."

Vintar also wrote Spaceless, which is set up at Fox with Gore Verbinski attached to direct.

Fox Animation & Blue Sky Telling Iguana Brothers

Fox Animation and Blue Sky Studios are finalizing a deal to bring the children's book The Iguana Brothers: A Tale of Two Lizards to the big screen as an animated feature with John Leguizamo voicing and producing.

Academy Award nominee Jeremy Pikser (Bulworth) is adapting the screenplay, which will also be produced by helmer Robert Luketic and Fonda Snyder.

The book by Tony Johnston and illustrated by Mark Teague includes three brief tales about iguana brothers Tom and Dom who give up their regular diet of bugs to become flower eaters, explore their physical similarity to dinosaurs, and affirm their friendship.
